The entire Henryetta school system will be a lot brighter and more energy efficient.
At a special school board meeting Wednesday, the performance agreement with Entegrity was approved.
The Arkansas-based firm will be changing out all fluorescent lights in every building with new, energy-efficient LED lights replacing them. That will take about four months, according to Integrity representative Matthew Graham.
Workers will performing the installations after school is out for the day.
Superintendent Dwayne Noble said the new LED lights will provide even illumination throughout the classrooms. He projected not only would there be a savings in the school electric bill but also elimination of contact replacements of fluorescent tubes as well as the blasts that power them.

At the special meeting, board members officially accepted the resignation of high school teacher Bryan Grabman. He told the board he would be retiring in May.
