Jack B. Francis, a longtime Henryetta resident, died March 1, 2020 at the VA Medical Center in Muskogee at the age of 96. He was born June 20, 1923 in Clarksburg, West Virginia to Sherwood and Margaret Francis.
Jack served in the Coast Guard during World War II. He then worked for PPG in Henryetta and later a TV repairman for many years. He attended college in Mexico City, Mexico.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Brothers Dick Francis and Forest Francis. A Sister Ann Brinko and a grandson Zachary Jones.
He is survived by his son Jackie Francis and wife Jill of Henryetta; four daughters: Angela Francis of Henryetta, Alicia Boulanger of Lake Elsinore, Calif., Dana Hall of Leader, Tex. And Melissa Smith of Okmulgee; son Jack Francis Jr. Okmulgee; brother Bill Francis and wife Mary of Witchita Falls, Tex.; sister Shirley Francis of Henryetta; grandchildren: Azure, Jared, Monica, Hunter, Raven and Jace. One Great Grandson Xander.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 5, 2020 at the Westlawn Cemetery with Marcus Whitworth, officiating. Military honors will be by the US Coast Guard. Services are under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home.
