Shirley Jean Davis, a resident of Henryetta, died April 23, 2020 in Tulsa at the age of 70. She was born Nov. 16, 1949 in Checotah to Clifford Jerald (Jenks)Palmer and Lois Maxine (Lowry) Palmer.
She married Freddie Davis Jan. 19, 1965 in Stigler. To this union five children were born, Anita, Freddie, Jr., Susan, Tammy Lynn, and Timothy Wayne.
Shirley was a graduate of Dewar High School. She later became a beautician and worked for over 45 years in Henryetta. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.
She is preceded in death by two children, Timothy Wayne Davis, Tammy Lynn Davis, son-in-law Matt Orman; her mother, Lois M. Moore, her father, Jenks Palmer and wife Carol, her mother in law Mable Davis, and father in law Stanley Davis; and one sister, Peggy Peoples.
She is survived by her husband Freddie Davis Sr. of the home; three children: Anita Thompson and husband Dennis, Freddie Davis Jr., and Susan Orman; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters: Jackie Palmer and Janie Henderson; three brothers: John Palmer, Brent Palmer, and Jacob Palmer; also by a host of friends and other relatives.
Viewing for Shirley will be from 3 to 8 p.m., Sunday, April 26 at Integrity Funeral Service.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Thompson, Anthony Gibson, Andrew Stalnaker, Greg Owen and Robbie Palmer.
Graveside services will be private.
