A Henryetta woman was assaulted and her car stolen while parked at the Henryetta Homeland store Monday night.
The suspect is said to be a black male in his early 20s and is currently being sought in Tulsa.
The suspect is said to have taken the vehicle and drove to Tulsa where the car was recovered.
Another person said they were at the same store when a young male tried to get into their vehicle. That individual was said to have tried to get into the car several times then left to try another car. When that auto alarm sounded he was said to have gone into the store.
He is alleged to have returned to the parking lot where he was successful in stealing a car.
One person was arrested in Tulsa in connection with the theft.
The investigation is underway with Creek Nation Lighthorse and Federal Bureau of Investigation.
