Plainview firemen are urging residents in the Bryant area to watch for suspicious vehicles driving along the roads at night.
Sunday night several fires were set along the roads but were extinguished before they could spread and threaten any homes.
Firemen said this is a dangerous time of year since all the fields are filled with dry vegetation. Coupled with low humidity and any wind, the fires will quickly spread.
Just a few days before, vandals opened the valve on a hydrant used by Rural Water District 4 and drained both water storage tanks. It took nearly a day before the tanks could be refilled and complete water service returned to the area.
