Ulysse Randy Yarbrough, a resident of Oklahoma City, died Jan. 9, 2021 in Oklahoma City at the age of 67. He was born Jan. 30, 1953 in Okmulgee to Elvin Ulysse Yarbrough and Mary (Potter) Yarbrough.
He served the United States in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was a retired police officer for the Oklahoma City Police Department and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his son, Patrick Swindler and wife Jennifer of Oklahoma City; daughter, Sara Yarbrough and wife Lauren Tidwell of Oklahoma City,; son, Randy Yarbrough and DeAnna of Perkins; grandchildren: Matt Swindler, Emma Swindler, and Oliver Yarbrough,; sister, Tina Hensley and husband Charles of Henryetta; brother, James Yarbrough and wife Somi of Henryetta; mother, Kathy Yarbrough of Henryetta; best friend, Nate Tarver; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Graveside services are scheduled for Friday, Jan. 15, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Westlawn Cemetery with Gregg Goss, officiating. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
