Wilson Riley Cypert, 76, of Schulter died Feb. 1, 2021 in Tulsa. He was born Aug. 8, 1944 to Glen D. and Nona Lucille (Stanley) Cypert in Okmulgee. Wilson attended school and graduated from Nuyaka. He was a butcher by trade. He worked for and retired from Warehouse Market after more than 25 years of service. Wilson and Shirley (Branson) married in Miami. He was a member of the Okmulgee Elks Lodge.
Wilson is preceded in death by his parents Glen and Nona Lucille, a brother Ted Cypert.
He is survived by his wife Shirley of the home; three sons: Theodore Cypert and wife Christina, Seth Cypert and wife Christina, Carl Cypert and wife Tauni; a step-son Marvin Farned and wife Shari; ten grandchildren: Paige and Lane Cypert, Gavin and Carson Cypert, and Seth and Schout Cypert, Cameron Rosson, Cody and Billy Farned, and Megan Gill; three sisters: Yvonne Sowder and husband Luther Ray, Glenna Ritter and husband Losson, Myra Gregory, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 6, at 10 a.m. at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel in Okmulgee with Reverend Willie Antwine officiating.
