A pair of three run homers were unable to give the Lady Knights the win Wednesday in the opening round of the state softball tournament.
Henryetta was leading 6-2 until the fifth inning when Washington came through with three runs then scored twice more in the seventh for the 11-6 tally.
Kassidy Lee slammed a homer over the left field fence in the bottom of the second giving the Lady Knights a 3-2 lead. Washington scored their two runs on a long ball over center field then an RBI in the top half of that frame.
The Henryetta hopes for a win got stronger in the bottom of the third when Shelby Kilhoffer parked a hit to left scoring Avery Miller and Kasedi Gobin.

Two RBI hits to center and left put the game out of reach for Henryetta and sent the Warriors on to the next round in the tournament.
Dwiggins did the pitching duties for the Lady Knights going the distance allowing 18 hits and 11 runs.
Henryetta had nine hits on the day scoring six RBIs.
