There are times that getting a par on one hole can make a difference.
That was the case for Easton Swallow Sunday and that par gave him the youth Tour Champion title at Heritage Hills in Tulsa.tour champ
Swallow, the son of Ryan and Christin Swallow, was competing in the season-ending tournament. He was 18 points down going into the tournament and needed to shoot a 40 to win it all.
After getting a bogey on the next to last hole, he had to have a par to win. He got that par and got his 40 giving him 168.5 points for the spring season. He finished two strokes above Camden Jones from Bartlesville and Ryp Upton from Broken Arrow. That gave him the lead over Upton who had 161 points and far outdistanced third place Jones with 123.5.
That was not the first time the Henryetta youngster has shined on the links. Two years ago he was named Fall Tour Player of the Year.
Last August he added a hole in one to his accomplishments which put him first place in the eight and under Tulsa Local Tour.
