After a several days-long investigation, Okmulgee County sheriffs deputies say the death of a Midwest City man was not due to foul play.
Sheriff Eddy Rice said his office had received a report Sept. 3 about a man lying in a yard in the 10,000 block of Loblolly Road.
That individual was identified as Charles Moore, a Midwest City resident.
Deputies canvassed the area speaking with neighbors and discovered Moore was wanting to buy some property and move to Henryetta.
“Mr. Moore was elderly and suffered from common health issues for someone of his age,” said Rice.
The state.medical examiner also conducted an investigation and does not suspect any foul play.
