Police are investigating the death of an individual whose body was found behind a business buildidng Wednesday morning.
Police chief Steve Norman said the remains had been at the scene for several days.
“We are waiting for the Medical Examiner to arrive and he will do a preliminary examination of the body then take it to Tulsa for a complete examination,” said the police chief.
Norman did say there were “documents” found on the body that may lead to an identification but declined to elaborate further.
“It will be up to the Medical Examiner to give the identification.
Those remains were found behind a business at 10th and Main under some brush. Workers from a nearby business made the initial discovery.
That discovery comes on the heels of a reported stabbing Tuesday night.
One individual was said to have been seriously cut in the attack but Norman said since the matter is still under investigation no more details were going to be released.
