An 80-yard kickoff return by Alex Hudson was the highlight of the district game between Henryetta and the Beggs Demons Friday night.
Henryetta was down 74-7 and recovering from a touchdown by the Demons int he third quarter when Hudson found the opening and ran down the right side of the field to pay dirt.
Beggs would take the win 82-25.
Earlier in the night he received a pass from Riley Pixler for a 41 yard touchdown.
His brother Nicolas would take the ball in for the third goal of the night.
In the final 90 seconds of the game Brady Norman completed a shovel pass to Phillip Rice giving the Knights their last score.
Beggs scored a total of 36 points in the opening quarter then added 32 more before the half.
The game opened with the Demons scoring on a 95-yard run then an interception for another six. Two more TDs would go to Beggs, one on an eight-yard run then a fumble recovery gave them the final score of the quarter.
In the second quarter Beggs put up 150 yards on the ground in three touchdown runs.
During thee night, Beggs ran 29 plays for a total of 457 offensive yards. Henryetta called 40 plays for 195.
The Knights threw 20 passes completing six for 64 yards while Beggs had three passes that gave the Demons 66 yards.
Henryetta fumbled twice losing the ball both times and the Demons fumbled three times losing it twice.
The Knights will be hosting Metro Christian This Friday night.
