The Lady Knights will be going to Dewey Wednesday for a 2 p.m. regional game against Sequoyah-Tahlequah.
Tickets for that game are only going to be sold online at the link available on the OSSAA home page. Admission is $7 for students and adults.
The regionals open with Dewey and Holdenville playing at noon. Winners of those games will face each other at 6. The losers will play at 4 on Wednesday. The tournament wraps up on Thursday with only the winner advancing to the state tournament
The last time the Lady Knights ran into Tahlequah-Sequoyah was at the Oktaha tournament. Henryetta came out on the wrong end of a 3-0 no hitter.
Tahlequah finished second in the 3A-6 district with a 24-10 record behind the Kansas Comets.
The Lady Knights wound up second in 3A-7 with 18 wins and 13 losses. Haskell came in first and will be hosting their regional contest opening against Vian. Lincoln Christian and Tishomingo make up the other schools in that bracket.
