Firemen were able to extinguish a blaze in a mobile home Monday morning but not before severe damage was done to the kitchen as well as a closet. The mobile home on South Third Street was occupied at the time the fire broke out. They were able to get out of the dwelling that rapidly filled with smoke. Fire chief David Bullard said there was smoke and water damage to the structure
