Henryetta wrestlers won one and lost one at their first home dual of 2022 Tuesday.
The Knights won 48-24 by forfeit in nine of the 14 weights against the Huldert Riders. They closed out the night with a 45-18 loss to the Will Rogers Ropers from Tulsa.
Hulbert’s only successes came in the 145, 152, 195 and 285 pound matches with pins.
Against Will Rogers, Tucker Watson, Jordyn Miller and Issac McNac all posted pins for the Knights.
Will Rogers wrestlers were successful in pinning Knights Aidan Hamm, Shelby Henderson, Cambria Rodriguez, Jayson Scott, Wyatt Cody and Dylan Lotton.
Three matches went the distance with Christian Gray, Madison Byroads and Tayler Hamric losing by points.
Henryetta will be hosting a quad match Thursday starting at 2 p.m. at the old high school gymnasium. Morris, Okmulgee and Vian will be sending schools to the event.
That will be the last time the Knights wlll be on their home mats until Jan. 25. Henryetta will be going to the Inola tournament Jan. 7 and 8 then to lLincoln Jan. 13, Wagoner Jan. 13 and 15 then Sallisaw Jan. 21 and 22.
Henryetta will be hosting Checotah Jan. 25 and Prague Jan. 27. The final home dual will be Feb. 3 with Hilldale. Regionals and state wrestling will start Feb. 14.
