Jackie Lee Evans, Okemah, died Jan. 21, 2022 in Okemah at the age of 60. He was born Aug. 8, 1961 in Oklahoma City to Melvin Evans and Lucy (Harjo) Burge.
Jackie grew up in Weleetka and was a resident of Okemah. He was baptized in the First Baptist Church of Weleetka.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Michael Evans.
Survivors include his wife, Sylvia Fish of Okemah; two sons, Michael Evans and wife Lucy of Okemah and Tyler Evans and wife Nicole of Okemah; daughter, Tanna Fixico and husband Myron of Okemah; brother, Billy Dover and wife Loretta of Henryetta; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Serving as pallbearers will be Myron Fixico, Maddox Fixico, Brandon Johnson, Bobby Harjo, Johnny Harjo and Wesley Barnett.
Honorary bearers include Tadyn Evans, Liam Evans, Michael Evans II, Kaison Spain, Amari Davis, Jaxton Spain, Daniel Fixico and Conquer Fixico.
Funeral services for Jackie Lee Evans will be held Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2022 at 2 p.m. at the Grace Baptist Church in Dustin, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at the Wiley–Scott Cemetery near Dustin. Wake services will be Tuesday, 7 p.m. at the Grace Baptist Church.
Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home.
