In the first game of the series, Henryetta downed the Okmulgee bulldogs 43-41. The Knights had a slim 11-10 lead at the end of the first but boosted that to 25-18 at the half with Nick Hudson sinking eight of those. The third quarter saw the scoring go cold for both teams with Henryetta only getting eight. Okmulgee cagers also had a problem finding the basket getting only six points, both of them three-pointers.
It looked as though neither team was going to make much inroads in the final quarter. The Knights scored eight points, most from the free throw line. Okmulgee was successful with one three-point goal then, just as the buzzer sounded, the Bulldogs hit a three pointer.
Henryetta was sent to the third place bracket with a 58-41 loss to Preston in the consolation rounds.
