Since 1997 the Henryetta Education Foundation has been helping local educators and students improve their classroom skills. That work was celebrated Tuesday night as Foundation members Keith Estes, Reggie and Kirk Palmer, James McCullough and David Warden presented a $16,777 check to school superintendent Dwayne Noble, high school principal Kelly Furer and school board present James Williams. The funds were the lastest round of teacher grants that enables students to add material to their classrooms. the presentation was made at the mid-game break between the Henryetta and Morris basketball game.
