The Monday rain cancelled a scheduled appearance for the HHS Lady Knights in the conference festival at Okmulgee. That tournament is going to be held but, according to coach Ryan Swallow, no date has been set.
Henryetta will be hosting their own Classic tournament at the Creek Nation Complex in Okmulgee starting Thursday.
The Lady Knights are going into that series of games ranked third in the state 4A slow pitch listings. Henryetta has a perfect 5-0 record with wins against Checotah, Okemah, Hinton, Cache and Newcastle. Dale currently holds down the first place 4A spot with Washington in second. Both teams have records of 3-1 this spring season.
On Thursday, Henryetta will be playing Kiefer at 11 a.m. The Kiefer trojans have won two, those against Liberty and Beggs and lost one to Preston.
In the second game of the day at 12:20, The Lady Knights and Broken Bow girls will tangle. Broken Bow is ranked second in 5A.
Rounding out the Thursday action at 5:40, Henryetta will play 5A second-ranked Cushing.
Friday, Henryetta and Red Oak play at 12:20. Red Oak is currently the fourth place 2A team. Rounding out that Friday action will be the Lady Knights against the Lady Trojans from Jenks. The Lady Trojans are a 6A school holding down eighth in their class.
