Henryetta’s tennis teams once again proved themselves champions at their own tournament this week.
The Knight boys team were the tops in their portion of the tournament while Henryetta’s girls were runner-up as a team.
During the two-day event, the HHS boys crowned three champions with Ethan Lovell tops in 1 singles, Jordan Osterdock and John Ritter posting the first place win in 1 doubles and Sheldon Andrews and Josh Osterdock winning the 2 doubles.
Abbi Dodge was the champion in her 2 singles brackets.
Rounding out the girls scoring was the 1 doubles team of Katie Davis and Kellyn Lollis and the 2 doubles team of Cassidy Bailey and Emma Thompson taking second while Andrea Wade was third in 1 singles
The boys saw Brayden Jones capture third place in his 2 singles match.
“Our kids played their hearts out against some good schools and battled windy conditions that added to the difficulty,” said coach Dustin Mosco.
