Visitors to the Highway to Henryetta festival will also have an opportunity to see some of the community’s history.
Starting Friday, June 10 and running through Sunday, June 12, the Henryetta Historical Society will have a display of several decades of school memorabilia as well s the town’s history.
Set at The Briefcase on Main Street, the display includes articles of clothing, photos and school life covering both the era of the Hens as well as the Knights.
In addition, a display of the school homecoming queen photos will be shown with an opportunity for visitors to vote on their favorite.
The school items come from the collection amassed over the years by Henryetta native and longtime teacher Kent Lackey.
