A 2018 Henryetta high school graduate is being honored by the Oklahoma Broadcast Education Association this past week.
Summer Bryant received three awards from the annual student broadcast competition at the University of Central Oklahoma.
Bryant took second place in the audio commercial contest, third place for her informational video and third in the personality reel contest.
“We are very proud of our student’s accomplishments during this very difficult year. The number of awards earned is a testament to the quality of our program,” said David Nelson, Ed.D., professor of mass communication and OBEA representative for Central.
Thirteen Oklahoma universities and colleges participated in the OBEA student competition, which generated 204 entries and was judged by media professionals from the Oklahoma City, Tulsa and surrounding regional media markets.
