Six members of the Henryetta high school choir took the highest honors they can receive recently.
Performing in the OSSAA state vocal solo and ensemble contest, the HHS men’s ensemble consisting of Sheldon Andrews, Caveryn Foster, Braden Lollis, Jacob Nail, Dalton Pemberton, and Zane Stevens scored a Superior.
Foster also was awarded a superior rating in the solo competition.
Jasmine Cantrell scored an excellent in the solo competition.
“I am proud of these students,” said choir teacher Karen Willis. “They put a lot of hard work and practice throughout the year and it was evident in their performances.”
