Members of the Henryetta high school graduating class of 2022 made their marks in scholastic achievements throughout the year.
Those accomplishments were recognized Tuesday morning at the annual high school awards assembly.
As part of the annual event, the senior key was passed on to next year’s graduating class. Xander Lollis, president of the junior class, received the key from 2020 HHS senior class president Jordan Osterdock.
Receiving awards were:
Aggie Gillin Valedictorian: Student Excellence Award-Henryetta Education Foundation Excellence Scholarship in conjunction with the All School Reunion in the amount of $1000, Oklahoma High School Honor Society bestowed upon the top 10% of the high school grades 9-12, National Honor Society, Oklahoma State University Cowboy Covenant Scholarship in the amount of $1,000, Academic Excellence Scholarship in the amount of $500, Wentz Scholarship in the amount of $3,000, and the Louis P. Sumpter Endowed Scholarship in the amount of $1,000, Henryetta Education Association Scholarship $250. The FFA Booster Club would like to present Aggie Gillin with a gold sash to recognize her as a 5-year active member, and awards her a $250 scholarship for her service as an officer in the local chapter. Oklahoma Promise--the state of Oklahoma's promise to help students who meet the following requirements with four years of tuition. They must be an Oklahoma resident enrolled in the program in 8th thru 11th grade and meet family income-based qualifications. Students must take the basic 17 courses outlined on the Oklahoma Promise website maintain a 2.5 GPA in those courses and the overall cumulative GPA of at least a 2.5 students must maintain at least 80% attendance throughout high school career. Students cannot get in any trouble with the law. Co-Recipient of HHS Outstanding girl.
Hulleah Wincle Valedictorian: Student Excellence Award-Henryetta Education Foundation Excellence Scholarship in conjunction with the Jefferson School Reunion Committee. Recipient of HHS Outstanding Senior Knight Oklahoma High School Honor Society National Honor Society, Oklahoma's Promise, band Boosters $1,000 scholarship. The FFA Booster Club would like to present Hulleah Wincle with a gold sash to recognize her as a 5-year active member, and awards her a $250 scholarship for her service as an officer in the local chapter.
Dalton Pemberton Valedictorian: Student Excellence Award-Henryetta Education Foundation Excellence Scholarship in conjunction with the Class of 1959 in the amount of $1000. Recipient of the HHS Outstanding Boy Oklahoma High School Honor Society National Honor Society, Oklahoma State University-Stillwater Oklahoma Engineering Initiative Scholarship in the amount $2.500 and the Academic Excellence Scholarship in the amount of $2,500 a semester totaling $10,000 for four years.
Kinlee Williams Valedictorian: Student Excellence Award-Henryetta Education Foundation Excellence Scholarship in conjunction with the Class of 1960 in the amount of $1000, Oklahoma High School Honor Society, National Honor Society Oklahoma's Promise, TU academic scholarship in the amount of $21,000 and a 16,000 grant. OU GPA based scholarship in the amount of $3,500, National Honor Society, Oklahoma High School Honor Society, Rose State University- full academic/athletic scholarship plus $2000 housing stipend.

Alex Hudson: Rotary Club Scholarship, Gladys Wiginton-Velta Siegenthaler Memorial Scholarship given by Beta Sigma Phi in the amount of $350
Lottie Johnson: National Honor Society. The FFA Booster club would like to present Lottie Johnson with a gold sash to recognize her 5 years as an active FFA member. Rotary Club Scholarship Aikman Award is a $10,000 scholarship that will be used to further their education at the college of their choice.
Ethan Palmer: National Honor Society, Henryetta Chamber of Commerce Scholarship in the amount of $500 First National Bank in the amount $250, Nathan George Scholarship in the amount of $250. The FFA Booster Club would like to present Ethan Palmer with a gold sash to recognize him as a 5-year active member. Additionally, he is awarded a medal to commemorate his state FFA degree. Finally, he is awarded a $250 scholarship for his service as an officer in the local chapter and a citation of congratulations from Senator Roger Thompson.

Allison Devore: National Honor Society. The FFA Booster Club would like to present Allison Devore with a gold sash to recognize her as a 5-year active member. Additionally, she is awarded a medal to commemorate his state FFA degree.
