Henryetta had an down and up afternoon at the Oktaha fastpitch tournament Thursday opening with a lass to their nemesis, the Oktaha Lady Tigers then shutting out Crowder in the final appearance.
At one point the lady Knights had bases loaded with only one out but a strikeout and Floy out to right ended that threat.
Oktaha opened the scoring in the third inning on a two out RBI then added two more runs in the fourth and fifth innings for the 5-0 shutout win.
Henryetta had four hits in the game compared to three for the Lady Tigers while Shelby Kilhoffer threw 68 pitches and allowed only three hits.
Serenity Rex led the Henryetta hitting with two singles on the day. Kilhoffer and McKayla Greenhaw had one each.
In the second game it was all Henryetta as the Lady Knights took a 10-0 no-hitter win over the Lady Demons from Crowder.
Ahead by one, the Henryetta girls stormed the bases in the second with six runs then added three more in the third.
That sixth inning blast saw Kinley Miller, Rex, Brooklynn Baughman and Skyler Morris driving in RBIS.
Kilhoffer and Rex pitched for Henryetta with no hits allowed during the game. Kilhoffer struck out nine Crowder batters while Rex fanned two more.
Henryetta will be hosting the Lady Ironheads from Eufaula Monday afternoon. They go to Eufaula Tuesday then come back Thursday for a home stand against Kellyville.
