After a near-shutout Monday night on their home field, the Morris Lady Eagles came to Henryetta wanting some satisfaction.
They got that with a 4-3 win even though Henryetta out-hit Morris in the seven-inning contest. The Lady Knights had seven hits compared to only four for Morris.
It was the third inning that saw Morris get the first runs on the board with back to back hits to center for three runs.
Henryetta came back in the fifth when Shelby Kilhoffer put the ball over the left field fence for her second home run of the week. She went yard in the game at Morris Monday where Henryetta won 13-2.
Her home run hitting effort was not finished when she parked the ball across the center field fence in the seventh on a 1-2 count with two outs. That homer allowed leadoff batter McKayla Greenhaw to score.
Kilhoffer did the pitching for the Lady Knights allowing only four hits while striking out four and walking one.
