Veterans from all branches of the military are going to be the guests of honor as area schools hold Veterans Day activities.
Those activities range from special music from students to gifts and even breakfast and lunches provided to those veterans.
Activities will be held starting Thursday, Nov. 10 through Monday Nov. 14. They include:
Nov. 10: at Ryal School starting at 10 a.m. Veterans will be treated to special music from the students and will receive gift bags.
Nov. 11: Henryetta high school students will present a special program featuring the band, elementary and high school choirs and a presentation from the drama department. That will start at 9 a.m. at the high school auditorium.
Nov. 14: Wilson School starting at 9 a.m. with a breakfast followed by a program at the gymnasium.
The Henryetta American Legion post will be hosting a special Veterans Day dinner from noon to 2 p.m. on Veterans Day. A veteran and their guest are invited.
