The disc golf course at Nichols Park was busy Saturday and Sunday as the state championship tournament was held.
There were 197 contestants representing cities and towns across Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas and Texas participating with the professionals looking for a share of the $4,530 prize money.
Top place in the men's professional division went to Brian Cawthorne from Broken Arrow. He had an 11-under total of 106 for the two days and pocketed $530.
Second went to Chris Runyan from Choctaw with 10 under.
In women's professional, Kari Tillman from Edmond was first with a 137 total and won $185. She is the wife of last year's winner, Bo Tillman.
Larry Gardner, Oklahoma City was first in the pro masters 40-plus age group with a seven-under total good for $375.
Samantha Russell from Dewar was the first place winner in the amateur women's masters division with a 149 total on the two days.
This is the third time the state tournament sponsored by Innova has been held at Nichols Park. The course has been in operation for over seven years and has been ranked as the third best in the state.
