Sammy Dale Harmon, a resident of Dustindied Dec. 8, 2022 in Tulsa at the age of 82. He was born April 13, 1940 in Dustin to Eddie Dee Harmon and Mary Ann (Wilson) Harmon.
Sam graduated from Dustin High School in 1958. Sam was married twice, first to Joann Pendley, they had one son, James Ashley Harmon; he and his second wife, Jeanie Patterson, had three children together: Sammy Dale Harmon, Jr., Nancy Ann Harmon and Jeffrey Charles Harmon.
Sam was a longtime pipeliner and was a fence foreman.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Jean Harmon and a son, Sammy Dale Harmon, two brothers, Charles Harmon and Gene Harmon, .
He is survived by his children: James Harmon of Dustin, Samantha Harmon-Thompson & husband Joshua of Dustin, Tiffany Harmon of Henryetta, Nancy Harmon of Dustin, Jeff Harmon of Henryetta and Clinton Patterson; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two sisters, Virginia Harmon of Houston, Tex., and Sue Harmon of Henryetta; four nephews and three nieces; also by a host of friends and other relatives.
Viewing for Sammy will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 14 at Integrity Funeral Service.
Pallbearers will be, James Harmon, Joshua Thompson, Logan Harmon, Jeff Harmon, Dylan Harmon, and Paul Lewis.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 15, 2022 at Integrity Chapel with Rev. Mark Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Dustin Cemetery under direction of Integrity Chapel.
