Henryetta area businesses spent a lot of time and effort decorating their stores this Christmas season. Photos were taken of each store at night and then posted on Facebook with the total number of likes used as votes.
First place went to The Shack V2 followed by Vintage Sun in second and Henryetta Tag Agency taking third.
Prize money of  $250, #150 and $100 were awarded to the store owners Friday by Chamber of Commerce special events committee chairs Kelly Craddock Dobson and Valerie Mosco. The contest was sponsored by First Family Federal Credit Union.
"This was a fantastic way to get Henryetta residents into the Christmas spirit said Dobson. "We had a lot of people commenting on how beautiful the stoers and town looked in time for the parade."
Mosco said the contest will become an annual event and expected it to grow in the coming years.
