Following a short executive session Monday, members of the Henryetta Economic Development Authority (HEDA) voted to terminate Ron Richmond as secretary for the group and start a search for a new person to take minutes and update agendas.
HEDA members are waiting for bids to be taken to give the parking lot at 419 West Trudgeon a new look. The work is said to cost around $32,000.
In November, the authority was waiting for a presentation by Okemah businessman Andrew Benson to purchase just over seven acres on the city-owned property west of town. That item was tabled when Benson was not present and put on the December agenda.
Benson was not present again so Authority members voted to remove it from further discussion.
No action could be taken on the November minutes or financial report since neither were ready for the meeting.
