FOG

Some 71 players from Henryetta, Dewar and the Tulsa area did not let the fog stop them from enjoying a day at Nichols Park Saturday.
They were participating in the Tulsa Am-Jam Series - Henryetta Two-Step tournament, the latest tournament held at the popular disc golf course.
The fog burned off quickly and players were left with a perfect day of competition that even saw the win cooperate with only a gentle breeze affecting some of the shots.
Matt House from McAlester turned in the best round of the day with 12 under in the mixed pro open division. Jacob Grannan, Collinsville had five under to take first in the mixed amateur division. Dewar's Samantha Russell was first in the 40+ amateur women's competiion while course designer Joshua Craig won first in the mixed amateur 40+. His brother, Jeffy Craig, finished ninth while James Russell, Dewar, was 12th.
In the mixed amaterur three category, Matthew Hicks, Henryetta, turned in a two-round total of 122 for fourth place.
