The teens are sacrificing their comfort to help feed local families who might not have a decent meal this Thanksgiving.
This is the second year for the fund-raising effort and the young people have set their sights on doubling their success a year ago when $10,000 was raised and fed some 400 families."We want to raise $20,000 that will get two trucks from Feed the Children," said youth pastor Jeff Williams. He said that would provide a week's worth of food for 400 families throughout the area.
The teens will be at the park starting at 10 a.m. Sunday through 4 p.m. Monday. Anyone wishing to donate are invited to stop by and visit with the teens.
