Homer Ray Bradfield, a resident of Vinita, died Dec. 30, 2017 in Vinita at the age of 83. He was born Jan. 28, 1934 in Tulsa to Homer Elijah Bradfield and Efffie Jane (Beal) Bradfield.
Homer was of the Apostolic Pentecostal faith and was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Leonard Bradfield, Acil Bradfield, and a sister, Juanita Taylor.
He is survived by four children: Patricia Sims of Vinita, Diana Powell of Okmulgee;
Wanda Murphy of Muskogee, and Jimmy Bradfield of Turley; three stepchildren, Ruth Boles of Choteau, Louie Boles of Turley, Leon Boles of Turley; four grandchildren: Shawn Wells, Jacob Rose, Nathan Rose, and Daniella Powell; sister, Fern Lewis of Glenpool; as well as nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
Viewing will be from 11 a.m. Monday until service time.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Monday, January 8, 2017 at Integrity Chapel with Rev. Trish Sims, officiating. Interment will be in Ft. Gibson National Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
