The Henryetta Knights added more hardware to their collection when they took the championship at their own tournament.
They had to fend off a third quarter attack by the Weleetka Outlaws for the 52-47 victory that capped a week of excitement.
Henryetta jumped out to an 18-5 lead at the first quarter then bounced it ahead to lead 30-15 at the half.
The Outlaws defensive strength shined in the third quarter when they held the Knights to only seven points while scoring 16 and narrowing the gap to six points.
It was the free throw line that made the difference for Henryetta in the fourth quarter with HHS cagers sinking nine of 11 tries and holding onto the win.
HHS senior Chet Caywood led the scoring for Henryetta with 20 points including four from the three-point mark. Following him was Heath Konsure with 15 while Riley Berry got eight, Ira Blackbear picked up seven and Kiley Johnson had two.
For the Outlaws, Caleb Wittman was the leading scorer with 19 while Jackson Frye added 14, Montana Gormly, eight and Kolyn Leitka, four.
