The Knights got into the win column Thursday when they broke the drought with a 20-8 victory over Haskell.
That district win saw the Knights dominate the field with 235 total yards while holding the Haymakers to only 94.
After a scoreless first quarter, the haymakers got on the board in the second with an eight-yard run and successful two point conversion.
Henryetta answered that with a 40-yard pass run by Cameron McKinney putting Henryetta just two points down going into the half.
Riley Pixler got the nod for a two yard run in the third then McKinney hauled in a 24 yard pass from quarterback Dalton Pemberton in the fourth to.
A blocked kick in the fourth gave the Knights the final two points for the win.
During the night, Pemberton threw 15 times and completed eight of those passes for a total of 145 yards. Alex Hudson carried the ball 32 times for Henryetta adding 101 yards onto his total for the season.
Haskell was only able to get 94 yards during the game on 42 plays with 61 of those not he ground.
Henryetta drove for 16 first downs while the Knight defense only allowed seven for the Haymakers.
This was a district win for the Knights and sets the stage for the next three opponents. Henryetta plays Morris Monday night in a rescheduled district game then the Knights travel to Victory Christian Oct. 30 and return for a home stand against Okmulgee Nov. 6.
Okmulgeeā€™s Bulldogs will have been idle until the Henryetta game due to a quarantine. They were scheduled to play Victory Christian and Morris but those games were cancelled.
