This is the week that voters can make the trip to the ballot box early by going to the Okmulgee County court house. Early in person voting will be held Oct. 29 and Oct. 30 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 31 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The general election will take place next Tuesday, Nov. 3 at precincts throughout the county. Anyone wishing to vote either early or on Nov. 3 must provide either the election board issued voter ID card or a photo ID card.
