Henryetta schools will be going back to distance learning until January 4.
That was the announcement today from Superintendent Dwayne Noble.
He said the online-only plan starts Monday, Dec. 17 and affects students in class through the end of the first semester on Dec. 17.
“This will affect all our sports as well as other holiday programs that we had originally scheduled,” Noble said.
Students in both middle and high school will be responsible for accessing their instructional videos and assignments through Google Classroom. Attendance will be taken daily per class period. The parents of grade school students will have their study format given to them by their children’s teachers Monday.
He said increased numbers in student absences as well as teachers affected by COVID and quarantines led to that decision.
