As 2020 came to an end, six area organizations received a boost from American Exchange Bank.
The Henryetta Education Foundation, Okemah and Dewar public school foundations, Henryetta Lions Club, Girl Scouts Little House and the Henryetta library are recipients of the monetary from the bank, a tradition that goes back for a number of years.
Receiving the donations this year were Dirk Palmer from Keith Hare for the Henryetta Education Foundation; Nita Robertson presenting the donation to Billie Been and Genie Trammell for the Girl Scouts; Kim Green, Diane Hester, Donna Fields and Carroll Carter receiving the Dewar public school Foundation from Danyele Green; Sherri Crosby and Nita Robertson receiving the donation to the Lions Club from Wes George; Nita Robertson awarding the annual donation to JoAnn Hott for the Henryetta public library; and Denise Riley represented the Okemah public school foundation receiving a check from Julie Stovall.
