State Rep. Logan Phillips is the chairman for the newly-created Technology committee as the Oklahoma House of Representatives gets ready to start their 2021 session Feb. 1.
Phillips, who was just elected to a second term, will be serving with Rep. Danny Williams, R=Seminole who is vice-chair of that group.
According to House Speaker Charles McCall, the new committee was organized along with committees on Criminal Justice and Corrections, Elections and Ethics, General Government Oversight and Accountability, Judiciary – Criminal, Federal and State Redistricting and States’ Rights.
He said those committees reflect increasing work in specific policy areas important to Oklahomans.
State Rep. Scott Fetgatter was named chairman of the finance committee dealing with revenue and taxation.
