The high wind failed to deter Henryetta’s Lady Knights golf team from their quest for a first place trophy at Wewoka Tuesday.
With a 415 total score, the Lady Knights captured first place in the Wewoka tournament adding another plaque to their collection.
Skylar Morris had a 96 individual score to hold down first individual honors, one strokes ahead of the second highest individual from Olive. This was her second tournament in her golfing career.
Skylar Smallwood shot 96 on the day for the third place individual honors.
Adding to the win were Emily Stockholm with 110, Lottie Johnson, 111 and Mabrey Been, 118. The sixth team member, Madi Byroads had 121 for the tournament.
Next on the schedule for the Lady Knights will be a trip to Okemah March 23.
