A Henryetta man was flown to Hillcrest Hospital in critical condition after a two-vehicle crash east of Henryetta Monday afternoon.
According to OHP Trooper William Landsheft, Dennis Dodge, 77, was the driver of a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado that collided with a 2003 Ford Expedition driven by Erika Lawson. The accident was said to have happened at the intersection of Hope Hill Road and Holly Road. Trooper Landsheft said it appeared the Silverado failed to yield to oncoming traffic and pulled out in front of the Expedition.
Dodge was taken to Hillcrest Hospital in Henryetta then flown to Tulsa in critical condition with head and internal injuries.
Lawson, 34, along with three juveniles in the Expedition, were taken to the Muskogee Creek Nation Medical Center in Okmulgee for treatment of injuries and released.
Trooper Landsheft said seatbelts were not being used in either vehicle.
