For a few minutes Friday Henryetta fans were worried that the Lady Knights would see their near perfect season record upset once again.
Henryetta went into their own festival with only two losses, those to 6A Broken Arrow and Jenks.
This time they hosted the Prague Lady Red Devils and Prague came out swinging with a first inning two-run homer.
In their first inning, Henryetta put three runners on base but couldn’t add any runs. That extended to the second inning with Prague adding more more run for a 3-0 lead.
The Lady Knights would take the lead and never give it up in the third inning on a single RBI hit scoring Brooklyn Baughman, single to left bringing Katelyn Dwiggins across home, fielder’s choice scoring Jaylyn Joslin, a single to center scoring Avery Miller.
Joslin would add three more runs on her center field one run scoring Skylar Morris and Baughman.
The final HHS scores would come in the bottom of the sixth with Shelby Kilhoffer hit a three run homer to left in the fourth putting Henryetta up 10-3. Kasedi Gobin and Kinlee Miller would score on RBIs to cap off the game.
Henryetta would post 17 hits in the game while Lady Knight pitcher Katelyn Dwiggins would only allow 8.
