Henryetta school board members added three more people to the staff Thursday morning.
Meeting in a special session, board members hired HHS alum Garrett Flanary to teach high school secondary math.
Also joining the high school staff will be Grayson Fletcher, as high school secondary special ed teacher while Dorothy Walker was hired as a temporary halftime secondary teacher.
Superintendent Dwayne Noble said the special session was called to make sure the school could get the teachers hired as they become available.
“There is a shortage of teachers around the state and a lot of times the applicants are grabbed up by other schools who have the openings,” he said.
