At a special school board meeting Monday, four new teachers were hired and resignations accepted for two staff members.
Resigning were Christy Smith and Brittanie Sulzen.
Following a short executive session, board members hired Steven Morgan as second grade teacher, John Massey for middle school computers, Andrea Hargis as secondary special education and Shelby Watts for high school secondary science.
Three other jobs were on the agenda but were tabled until the next board meeting.
The board is scheduled to hold the monthly August meeting Monday, Aug. 9.
