Organizer Jeremy Roberts said the project is designed to get rid of a lot of the junk, trash and debris that has accumulated since the last cleanup project several years ago.
To help with that, the city will have roll-off dumpsters at the Farmer’s Market near the skate park for each of the days.Local residents can bring up to two loads and they will have to show a recent water bill. Roberts said the water bill will be stamped each time is it presented.
He also said volunteers are wanted to help at the dumpster location to check the water bills as well as provide information about the project.
“This would be a great opportunity to do a Fall Clean Up with your Church or Civic Organization in our town,” he added. Anyone wishing to help should be at the dump site Oct. 8.
Car batteries, tires, chemicals, parts will not be accepted into the roll offs.
