The fundraising effort for the Nichols Park caretaker’s house Saturday was a success.
Held at Rustler’s Barbecue, the evening of games, bake sale and music brought in over $4,000.
Organizer Steve Sanford said he has had a goal of $14,000 in order to start work on the house in a project that will be completed in several phases.
