Utica Park Clinic, located on the campus of Hillcrest Hospital in Henryetta, is offering an after-hours clinic to provide extra appointments for patients dealing with illness, including flu and COVID-19. The after-hours clinic is available every Thursday and Friday between 5 and 6 p.m. at 2405 W. Main St., suite A in Henryetta.
“We started seeing a surge in patients wanting appointments or walk-ins, and we simply couldn’t keep up,” said Rashelle Phelps, APRN-CNP. “We started the after-hours clinic in September 2022 due to demand and it has been a good response. Most people are appreciative to have an opportunity to come to our clinic without having to take off work, leave early or take their kids out of school.”
Phelps treats patients of all ages. Phelps said she sees similar illnesses that are impacting clinics and hospitals around the country.
“We are seeing a lot of flu A and flu B, some COVID-19 and some strep throat,” said Phelps. “Like other clinics, we have also seen positive RSV cases at our UPC clinic in Henryetta.”
Phelps said many of the patients who come to the after-hours clinic end up returning and becoming one of her long-term patients. For more information or to schedule an appointment with Phelps, call 918-248-8741 or visit uticaparkclinic.com.
