Five lost fumbles and a pair of interceptions kept the Knights away from a win against Victory Christian Friday night.
Victory drew first blood in the opening quarter with a 33 yard pass to the goal line but that was followed up by Nick Hudson getting his best run of the night for 73 yards and a touchdow. He would score again in the second quarter on a 26 yard pass from Brady Norman.
Victory chalked up two touchdowns in the first quarter, three in the second and three more in the third for the 58-13 win.
On the gound, both teams were just about evenly matched withHenryetta carrying the ball 42 times for 300 yards while the Conquerors had 33 running plays for 297 yards. The aerial attack from Victory Christian helped seal the evening. Victory threw the ball 27 times with 15 completions for 287 yards. The Knights were successful in three of eight passes for only 68 yards.
