The driver who led Henryetta police on a high-speed chase and rammed two police cars will be spending 20 months in a federal prison.
Clinton Randall Primeaux, age 29, of Okmulgee, was sentenced to 20 months in prison for endangering others while eluding a police officer.
The chase started when Primeaux sped away from a traffic stop after he had been seen leaving a known drug house.
After turning toward Clearview from I-40, Primeaux went into a ditch then got back on the roadway slamming head-on into one of the Henryetta police cars.
About a mile from that crash, he is alleged to have pulled into a construction site then left the vehicle and tried to run away on foot.
He was caught then placed into the Okmulgee County jail. Because he is a member of a federally recognized tribe, the FBI worked with police on the investigation.
Last January, Primeaux entered a guilty plea to eluding a peace officer in a manner as to endanger any other person in Indian country.
